Situated in the rapidly evolving North Burnet Gateway district of northwest Austin, Texas, the Uptown ATX Master Plan by Lionheart set to transform a historic 65-acre site into a 6.7 million square foot transit-oriented development. This visionary project is a showcase of sustainable urban development, cleverly merging community needs with innovative architectural and environmental practices to create a dynamic mixed-use space.
Lionheart has played a pivotal role from conception through ongoing development phases. Under Lionheart’s leadership, the team has meticulously designed a new CapMetro rail station, anticipated to double local transit ridership and significantly ease regional traffic congestion. Through extensive community collaboration, Lionheart has aligned the project with local visions of growth and sustainability, garnering widespread support.
The project also features a robust green infrastructure plan, which includes a network of parks and the preservation of a historic cypress grove, thereby enhancing urban biodiversity and providing valuable green spaces for community interaction.
