La Verde Park, a 1.67-acre urban oasis, lies at the heart of the 138-acre Brick and Mortar District within the master planned community of Plum Creek. Lionheart took inspiration from the site’s natural geographic qualities, the park design includes a variety of multi-generational program experiences such as interactive water features, performance pavilion, market place, art program, lawn, social games, playground, hammock grove, rain gardens, and dog run.

Surrounded by 2.5 million square feet of mixed-use development that includes office spaces, retail establishments, an amenity center, and 2,500 residential units, La Verde Park emerges as a crucial center. Transforming a landscape once dominated by overgrazing, it now serves as the central gathering spot within the eagerly awaited retail town center.

The rain garden, with a substantial storage volume of 2,600 cubic feet, plays a pivotal role in providing detention and maintaining water quality for 100 percent of the site. This innovative feature stands as a resilient solution to manage stormwater effectively.
